A Georgian punch ladle, having a spiral twist baleen handle leading to a plain bowl, with centrally inset George II Shilling 1758 coin to base, length measuring 14.25 (36cm). Together with another George III punch ladle, also with baleen handle leading to a silver oval bowl, hallmarks heavily rubbed, and a similar toddy ladle, hallmarked John George Smith, London 1800, plus a plain silver fish server, hallmarked Hukin & Heath Ltd, Birmingham 1938. (4). Multiple item lot in mixed condition, all pieces displaying general surface wear, tarnishing, marks and scratches. Fish server heavily tarnished and would benefit from a clean and polish. Ladle with inset coin is unmarked, and has some small dents to bowl. Baleen handles to oval ladle and smaller ladle are loose. Oval ladle maker's marks and date marks rubbed and illegible. Lion passant mark and London assay mark recognisable. Other hallmarks and marker's marks are clear and legible. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
