An Edwardian silver mustard pot of plain drum form with shell thumb-piece, plus an early George V bulbous example on three paw feet, hallmarks for Chester 1903 and 1912, together with two 1930's silver mustard pots, one drum shape with pierced heart thumb-piece and the other octagonal-sided, hallmarks for Birmingham 1932 and 1938; all with blue glass liners and associated silver condiment spoons, various dates and maker's marks. Weight excluding glass 7.84 ozt (244 grams). (4). Multiple item lot in mixed condition, all pieces displaying some general wear and tarnishing, and surface marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Chester 1903 mustard with slight knock to base rim. Lid does not close flush and rises slightly. Maker's mark for Haseler Brothers.Chester 1913 mustard with maker's mark for Jay, Richard Attenborough Co Ltd.Birmingham 1932 mustard with slight movement to hinge. Also slight knock to base rim. Liner with cracks and repaired chip. With maker's mark TS.Birmingham 1938 mustard with maker's mark for Barker Brothers Silver Ltd. Liner a good fit. Spoon by same maker and dated 1937. Spoons appear generally ok. Some hallmarks rubbed but mostly clear and legible. Cannot guarantee that glass liners are original to the pots. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
