An Italian silver pierced dish, the shaped square form with beaded wavy rim enclosing foliate scroll pierced sides to a plain centre, the whole raised on four leaf capped claw and ball feet. Modern Italian assay marks for Firenze, also impressed 800. Maximum length 6 5/8 inches (16.8 cm), weight 4.67 ozt (145.4 grams). The dish is quite tarnished and in need of a clean and polish. Otherwise appears in good overall condition displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches with a very slight dint visible to the plain centre. A couple of minor breaks to pierced decoration. Residues of polish. Some distortion to assay marks but still legible.
