A silver twin-handled dish of circular form, the planished shallow bowl inset with a George II shilling to the centre with further inset coins to each handle, and raised on a short flared foot. Hallmarked Albert Edward Jones, probably Birmingham 1917. Length including handles 10 3/8 inches (26.3 cm), gross weight 5.78 ozt (179.7 grams). Appears in good overall condition, displaying general tarnishing and some expected surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. Hallmarks clear and legible with minor rubbing around edge of maker's mark.
