Two Chinese export silver menu or place name holders, each modelled in the shape of a fan on wire easel-back support, one decorated with prunus blossom, maker's marks WC 90, possibly Wang Chung (Hong Kong, circa 1840-1900), the other with bamboo leaves, mark rubbed possibly WH, length 3 (7.5cm). Together with a miniature watering can, possibly Hanau, and a small floral and diamond pierced swing-handle basket, hallmarked Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1902. (4). All pieces displaying general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with their age and use.All in a heavily tarnished state and in need of a clean.Some possible repairs to menu holders and one of the easel stands is very loose at hinge with protruding pin at one end, and supports splayed rather than straight. Marks partly rubbed on one example.Watering can with break at the join of support arm to long spout. Further likely join repair at pierced watering end. Possible Hanau psuedo-marks.
