A novelty silver cigar or table lighter by Georg Jensen, modelled as a Roman oil lamp, with detachable bud cover and bifurcated handles, raised upon a tapering stem with stylised foliate detail and faceted base with bead detailed rim. Marked to base with two Georg Jensen beaded marks and also Copenhagen (all raised lettering), dated 1919 and further marked GABF below a crown. Length 5.25 (13.5cm). With scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.A number of small knocks, nicks, and some scuffing. Some wear to stem and cover detail. Lacking snuffer. Missing bead detail to base.
