Together with a selection of other Georgian and Victorian flatware to include a mustard spoon, probably also 1785, three table forks, hallmarked William Eley & William Fearn, London 1801, a Fiddle pattern dessert fork, London 1817, a further Fiddle pattern table spoon, London 1841, and a set of six late Victorian dessert spoons, hallmarked Josiah Williams & Co, London 1897/98/99. Weight 29.86 ozt (928.7 grams). (17). Multiple item lot in mixed and used condition, all pieces displaying general expected surface wear, tarnishing, marks and scratches commensurate with their age and use. Heavier wear and damage to some pieces including to some of the bowls of the George III table spoons. Bumps and uneven surface and one example in particular also with creases. Other spoon bowls have generally faired quite well. Fork tines are a little uneven in length with heavier wear to tips. Hallmarks mostly legible. All with engraved crests, mostly a unicorn crest. The late Victorian set of six spoons with a different crest. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and due to the amount of pieces in this lot we strongly recommend viewing in person to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
