Two similar Edwardian silver mustard pots, each of small oval form and pierced with geometric and stylised patterns, with domed hinged lids and raised on ball feet, plus a slightly larger oval example with foliate pierced sides, hallmarks for Birmingham 1901, 1902 and 1913, together with a further Edwardian mustard pot of floral and scroll embossed drum form, hallmarked Chester 1904; all with blue glass liners and associated silver condiment spoons, various dates and maker's marks. Weight excluding glass 4.91 ozt (152.8 grams). (4). Multiple item lot in mixed condition, all pieces displaying some general wear and tarnishing, and surface marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Both Edwardian pierced mustards with a few dints visible to the top of the domed lids. 1901 mustard with repairs around hinge and handle joins with movement also to hinge. Liner slightly too big causing lid not to close flush. Maker's mark J R Ltd. 1902 mustard with rim nibbles and larger chip to glass liner. Maker's mark for M Bros.1913 mustard with break at the join of the top of the handle to the main body, just below the rim. And further break in the pierced decoration just above the join of the handle terminal. With maker's mark for Vale Brothers & Sermon.1904 embossed mustard with a couple dints visible to the plain cartouche and slight edge knocks to base. Liner a good fit and closes flush. Maker's mark for George Nathan & Ridley Hayes. Spoons appear generally ok. Hallmarks with some rubbing but mostly clear and legible. Cannot guarantee that glass liners are original to the pots. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
