A pair of 1930's silver candlesticks, each with square stepped base having beaded detail and rising to a four sided spreading stem and conforming sockets (one example lacking nozzle). Hallmarked Britton, Gould & Co, Birmingham 1937. Height 12 inches (30.5cm), weight 26.9 ozt (836.9 grams). Candlesticks each with surface scratches, marks, small knocks and indentations, and tarnishing. One lacking removable nozzle, the other nozzle present but partly jammed and split around the central circular join. Wax residue to both sockets.
