A pair of George II silver table spoons in Hanoverian pattern with short drop to heel, hallmarked Paul Hanet, London, date letter illegible, circa 1730, and another similar early Georgian table spoon with longer heel drop, marks distorted. Together with a George III Old English pattern sauce ladle, London 1783, a set of six William IV teaspoons, London 1835, and an early Victorian Irish silver Fiddle pattern teaspoon, Dublin 1846. Weight 11.8 ozt (367 grams). Most of the pieces in the lot appear in a fairly tired and tarnished state and would benefit from a clean and polishAll displaying general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with their age and use. Many of the bowls with heavier wear around the edges and tips where the metal appears thinner. In particular, the bowls of the pair of George II spoons appear a little ground down around the tips, and the bowls of the William IV teaspoons also appear fairly thin. Uneven surface to some bowls with some bumps. The hallmarks on the early Georgian table spoons appear partly squashed and distorted. Other hallmarks are mostly clear and legible with minor rubbing.
