A 1920's cased tortoiseshell and silver mounted dressing table set, comprising a hand-held mirror, two hair brushes, and two clothes brushes, each with tortoiseshell back with inlaid oval and foliate decoration. Hallmarked Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1925. Height of mirror 10 1/4 inches (26cm). With surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.Some small nicks and indentations. Hairbrushes with some slight lifting and distortion around top of handle to silver mount.Case worn, faded and with discolouration.
