郭润文 1955年生于广东。1982年毕业于上海戏剧学院舞台美术系。1988年结业于中央美术学院油画系助教班。现任广州美术学院油画系教授，广州美术学院造型艺术学院院长，广东美术家协会副主席，中国油画学会副主席，中国美术家协会理事。
Guo Runwen was born in 1955 in Guangdong. In 1982, he was awarded with a bachelor's degree in Stage Art Department in Shanghai Theatre Academy and in 1988 finished oil painting study at China Central Academy of Fine Arts. Currently he is professor with Oil Painting Department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Vice President of Guangdong Artists Association and China Oil Painting Society and Director of China Artists Association.
