冷 军 1963年生于四川。1984年毕业于武汉师范学院汉口分院艺术系。现任武汉画院院长，国家一级美术师，中国美术家协会会员，湖北省文联副主席，湖北省美协副主席，武汉美术家协会主席，中国油画艺术委员会委员，中国油画学会理事，享受国务院政府专家特殊津帖。
Leng Jun was born in Sichuan Province in 1963. In 1984, he graduated from Fine Art Department of Wuhan Normal College, Hankou Campus. Currently Leng is Headmaster of Wuhan Art Institution, a member of China Artists Association, Vice President of Hubei Artists Association, Chairman of Wuhan Artists Association, a member of China Oil Painting Committee and Director at China Oil Painting Society. He enjoys special expert allowance from the State Council.
