李咏森 1898年生于江苏。1924年毕业于苏州美术专科学校。擅长水彩画。二十年代末至五十年代初，历任《太平洋画报》美术编辑、中国化学工业社包装美术设计师、上海美术专科学校图案系教授、苏州美专上海分校副校长等职，并创立中国工商业美术作家协会。1953年以来历任上海轻工业局日化公司美术组长、上海轻工业学院教授，兼任同济大学和上海美专教授。中国美术家协会会员，美协上海分会理事，上海水彩画研究会与上海粉画学会名誉会长，上海文史馆馆员。1988年上海美术馆举办李咏森、邵靓云捐献水彩画展览，同时上海文化局颁发奖状。
Li Yongsen was born in Changshu of Jiangsu Province in 1898 and graduated from Suzhou Fine Arts College in 1924. From the late 1920s to the early 1950s, he successively held positions such as the art editor of Pacific Ocean Pictorial, professor of Shanghai Fine Arts College, the Vice-President of Shanghai Branch Campus of Suzhou Arts College, etc. He established the Chinese Industry and Commerce Artists Association. In 1988, Shanghai Art Museum held 'Li Yongsen and Shao Liangyun Water Color Exhibition'.
