费以复 1913年生于江苏同里。1936年毕业于苏州美专西画系，师从颜文梁、吕斯百。曾任南京励志社总社美术科干事，上海行知艺术学校教员，中国美术学院油画系副主任、副教授。中国美术家协会会员、浙江分会理事，杭州科普美协理事长。
Fei Yifu was born in Tongli, Jiangsu Province in 1913. After graduating from Suzhou Art School in 1936, he worked in the Department of Fine Arts, Lizhi Community, Nanjing. He was once Deputy Director and associate professor of Oil Painting Department, China Academy of Art, member, and later became council member of China Artists Association, Zhejiang Branch, and Director of Hangzhou Science and Art Association.
