A 19th century mahogany eight-day silvered dial longcase clock marked Evill, Bath, the 13 (33cm) circular silvered dial with Roman house, Arabic minutes and minute band, framing subsidiary seconds and date dials, the movement striking on a bell, the mahogany crossbanded and line inlaid case with arched pediment above a glazed panelled door flanked by fluted columns above a narrow trunk door flanked by quarter fluted columns, upon stepped base and bracket feet, 89 (226cm) high. Clock has had restoration with work to dial, mechanism and case.The glazed door is cracked.The fluted columns to the hoop are loose.Some splits to sides of case.Some lifting to veneers.Not known if working.
