A small George III silver vinaigrette, of oblong form, with leaf-style decoration to the whole, with suspension loop to top, and further conforming decoration to interior grille. Hallmarked T Simpson & Son, Birmingham 1811. Weight 11 grams. Displaying general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Crude piercing to grille. Some small dents and nicks to both exterior and interior. Hinged opening in good working order. Hinge of grille stiff but moveable.Hallmarks rubbed in places but generally legible.
