A pierced silver egg-shaped ornament, the design of interweaving flowers, to a central band, marked 324/500, hallmarked St James House Company, London 1980. Together with an ornament modelled as a rearing horse, on a domed oval base, horse impressed 800, plus a box displaying Russia Communist party images and text, marked 925. Total gross weight 5ozt (154.3 grams). Multiple item lot, displaying general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Egg ornament has areas of denting and residue from silver polish. The central band is slightly wonky and not fully flush together.Possible marks to underside of horse, but very rubbed and illegible. Other item's marks are clear and legible. Figures on box lid worn, with one raised letter to lid's acronym missing. Also worn decoration to box rim. Some areas of heavier tarnishing that would benefit from a clean and polish.Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
