A Portuguese stand, possibly a spice container, modelled with fruit and a bird finial, assay marks probably for Lisbon 833 standard, plus another similar item with stylised peacock surmount, marked to base with a crowned P in a heart, possibly 19th century assay mark for Porto, and a further stand with central soldier figure in tricorn hat, also with Portuguese assay marks. Height of peacock stand 6.25 (16cm), gross weight 17.45 ozt (543 grams). (3). In mixed overall condition, all pieces displaying general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with their age and use. All with some heavy tarnish and would benefit from a clean. Heavier damage to some pieces with surface dints and bumps. Peacock stand has a hole through an assay mark on the base rim. Figural stand with several splits and tears around the base rim.Some assay marks obscured.
