A 1930's silver caster, of octagonal sided form with girdle detail and stepped base, the removable domed cover with pierced decoration and knopped finial, hallmarked Viner's Ltd, Sheffield 1933, height 6 1/2 inches (16.5cm). Together with a 1920's silver sauce boat, of plain bellied form with frilled rim, scroll handle and raised on three hoof feet, hallmarked Jay, Richard Attenborough Co Ltd, Chester 1929, length 5 3/4 inches (14.5 cm). Weight 7.76 ozt (241.6 grams). (2). With surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.Caster with a few nicks to edges and one small knock to base of cover.Sauce boat with a few small indentations to body, frilled rim slightly misshapen to areas.
