An early twentieth century silver kiddush cup, the bowl of tapering form with central engraved vacant cartouche with foliate detail, and raised upon a knopped stem to a stepped circular foot, hallmarked Josef Zweig, Birmingham 1911, height 4 3/4 inches (12cm), together with six smaller examples of similar form with engraved Star of David decoration, hallmarked Chester 1913 and Birmingham 1912/1913, same maker. Weight 5.12 ozt (159.3 grams). With scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.With small indentations, a few examples with small knocks to bowls, and examples with knocks to feet. All slightly or quite unsteady on feet.
