A cased mid-twentieth century silver commemorative set of British Hallmark teaspoons for the six cities of Assay, each plain tapering stem with crown terminal, hallmarked Roberts & Belk Ltd., 1952 (Sheffield and Edinburgh) and 1953 (London, Birmingham, Chester and Glasgow). Together with various other tea/coffee spoons including a set of four Edwardian silver bright cut engraved examples, Sheffield 1904, and a cased pair of ornately decorated white metal fish servers. Weight of spoons 5.91 ozt (184 grams). Multiple item lot in mixed condition, all pieces displaying some general surface wear, tarnishing, marks and scratches commensurate with their age and use, and to varying degrees.The majority of the spoons appear in good overall condition and hallmarks legible. Some heavier tarnishing and scratched marks to the fish servers and case is in poor condition in two parts. Not marked. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and due to the amount of items in this lot we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
