A 1930's matched silver three piece tea set, comprising teapot, cream jug and sucrier, each of oval form with fluted detail, raised upon an oval spreading base, the teapot with curved flat top ebonised wood handle and finial to the hinged cover. Hallmarked S Blanckensee & Son Ltd, the teapot Birmingham 1936, the cream jug and sucrier Chester 1938. Height of teapot 6 1/4 inches (16cm), gross weight 32.51 ozt (1011.2 grams). The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. Teapot with nicks to edge of spout, upper rim and foot. Handle with some light scratches, finial with scratches, predominantly to underside.
