An early Victorian silver cream jug, of bulbous form with frilled rim and foliate capped scroll handle, raised upon three stepped hoof feet, the body with engraved foliate detail and vacant cartouche. Hallmarked Edward Farrell, London 1845. Height 4 3/4 inches (12cm), weight 4.45 ozt (138.6 grams). The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. Some dints to lower body. Silver gilt interior worn.
