A pair of modern silver mounted candlesticks, each with filled square and stepped base rising to a tapering stem, with vase shaped socket and removable nozzle with oblique gadrooned edge, decorated in the Neo-Classical style with swag detail, acanthus leaves and ram's heads. Hallmarked London 1979, maker's mark PSW. Height 7 1/2 inches (19cm). Both with scratches, wear and indentations and small knocks, particularly to edges and stepped base, and some tarnishing. One example is slightly unsteady on base.
