唐伟民 1971年出生于湖南。1991年毕业于湖南师范大学艺术系专科。2000年考入广州美术学院油画系研究进修班。2001年，毕业作品《执扇女子》获广州美术学院王嘉廉奖学金二等奖；2003年，作品《灵光鼎》参加中国美术馆第三届中国油画年展；2004年，作品《琴殇》入选第十届全国美展。
Tang Weimin was born in Hunan in 1971. He graduated with a junior college degree from Hunan Normal University in 1991 and was admitted to Oil Painting College of Guangzhou academy of art in 2000. His most famous representative work is Qin Shang, which was selected to be exhibited on the tenth national art exhibition in 2004.
