In 1985, he transferred to Shanghai Oil Painting and Sculpture Academy where he assumed the role of Deputy Director, Deputy Secretary, etc. He also acts as Dean and lifetime professor at Fine Arts College, East China Normal University. Now he is a national level artist, a member of China Artists Association, Standing Director of Chinese Oil Painters Association, researcher at China National Academy of Painting, and Vice Chairman at Shanghai Artists Association. His painting won Silver Prize at the Seventh National Art Exhibition.||
