王劼音 1941年生于上海。1966年毕业于上海美术专科学校。1986年赴维也纳应用艺术大学及维也纳美术学院进修。现任上海大学美术学院教授，上海市美术家协会副主席，上海版画会会长。中国美术家协会会员，中国版画家协会会员，上海双年展学术委员。
Wang Jieyin was born in Shanghai in 1941 and graduated from Shanghai Fine Arts School in 1966 and then pursued further education in Vienna University for Applied Fine Arts and the Vienna Academy of Applied Arts. Now, he is working as professor at Shanghai University. Meanwhile, Wang is Vice President at Shanghai Artists Association, a member of China Artists Association, President of Shanghai Engraving Association and a member of Shanghai Biennial Exhibition Committee, etc.
