陈逸鸣 1951年生于上海，为陈逸飞的胞弟。1972年至1979年期间，先后就读于上海美术专科学校及上海戏剧学院油画系。1979年至1981年任教于上海轻工业专科学校美术系。1981年赴美，在纽约艺术学生联盟研习。曾于美国纽约、芝加哥、佛罗里达及法国巴黎的著名画廊合作并举办画展，在全球获得了广泛的认可。2011年在上海美术馆举办首次大型回顾展“陈逸鸣艺术展”。
Chen Yiming was born in Shanghai in 1951. From 1972 to 1979, he studied in Shanghai Art College and Oil Painting Department of Shanghai Theatrical College successively. Before going to study in U. S in 1981, he was an art teacher in Shanghai Light Industry College. Then he went to study in New York Art Students Union in the U. S. He held many exhibitions in North America, Europe and Asia. In 2011, he held his first retrospective exhibition in Shanghai Art Museum.
