王玉平 1962出生于北京。1983年考入中央工艺美术学校陶瓷系。1985年考入中央美术学院油画系。1988年在中国美术馆举办个展。1989年毕业，留油画系任教至今。
Wang Yuping was born in Beijing in 1962. He entered Ceramic Department of Central University of Arts and Crafts in 1983. Two years later, he entered Oil Painting Department of Central Academy of Fine Arts. In 1988, Wang held his first solo exhibition at National Art Museum of China. Since then, Wang has been teaching there until now.
