A Victorian silver four piece tea service, comprising teapot, coffee pot, twin-handled sucrier and cream jug, each of ovoid part fluted form and raised upon a circular fluted base, the curved handles with foliate decoration, the tea and coffee pot with ivory insulators and part fluted hinged covers with foliate detailed finials. Hallmarked S Smith & Son, London 1872. Height of teapot 8.25 (21cm), gross weight 75.65 ozt (2353 grams).
