A George I Britannia silver bun top caster, the plain bellied form with girdle detail above a footed base, with later engraved initials, the removable cover with stylised foliate piercing. Hallmarked London 1717, maker's mark partly worn, probably Joseph Clare I. Height 3.25 (8.5cm), weight 2.35 ozt (73.3 grams).
