A 19th century French silver mustard pot, the circular openwork form with reeded borders enclosing palmette motifs, with a zoomorphic handle and hinged lid with cone finial opening to a removable clear glass liner, assay marks for Paris 1819-1838 and 950 fineness, height 4.25 (11cm). Together with a cased French silver egg cup and matching spoon, Minerva guarantee mark, also 950 standard, and maker's mark for Eugene Lefebvre (Paris 1896-1910). Weight excluding glass 4.78 ozt (149 grams).
