A late George II silver sauce boat, the oval ogee shape body with gadroon rim above a stag crest engraving to one side, with a foliate capped scroll handle and the whole raised on an oval collet foot with conforming gadroon border detail. Hallmarked William Skeen, London 1758. Height including handle 5.5 (14cm), weight 13.83 ozt (430.3 grams).
