A 1930's silver sauce boat, the typical oval bellied form with applied gadroon rim, foliate capped scroll handle and raised on three stepped hoof feet, hallmarked S Blanckensee & Son Ltd., Chester 1933, length 6.75 (17cm). Together with another sauce boat with scalloped rim, hallmarked Birmingham, same date and maker. Total weight 12.48 ozt (388.2 grams). (2).
