An early 17th century silver seal-top spoon, the fig shaped bowl with engraved crest verso depicting a dragon atop a coronet, with slightly tapering stem to a stepped, squat terminal. Hallmarked London, no visible date letter, maker's mark for Daniel Cary (1614-1634), bottom struck with the leopard head struck to the inner bowl. Length 7 (18cm), weight 1.82 ozt (56.5 grams).
