An early George III silver salver, the circular form with shaped raised rim and oblique gadroon border to a centrally engraved armorial and the whole raised on three scrolled feet. Hallmarked London 1768, maker's mark partly rubbed, probably John Parker I & Edward Wakelin. Diameter 12.5 (32cm), weight 29.1 ozt (905.4 grams).
