此炉圆鼎造型，局部鎏金。平口唇沿，口沿对置双立耳，弧壁下环收，底承圆柱形足，其势内敛。腹部三出戟，并饰兽面纹三组，腿足饰蝉纹，全器纹饰均衬以云雷纹为地。
整器造型饱满，稳重凝练，鎏金覆之以浓厚的包浆，古意悠悠，纹饰饶有古趣，刻画精细，布局舒朗妥帖，体现了明代雅士好古之风。
