此器系仿照商代晚期礼器铜鼎制作而成，器型精雅，鼎腹为正方形，较为少见。
精铜所铸，胎体显厚，平口唇沿，两侧立冲天耳，方斗式深腹，四棱出戟，每面以云雷纹作底，饰饕餮纹两层，纹样勾曲回旋，富于变化。兽面双睛、鼻部以金箔点缀，余部以银丝银箔嵌饰，含蓄唯美。平底下承接夔龙足，足端外撇内勾。
