An set of four early 19th century Regimental silver vegetable dishes and covers, marks worn, possibly by Benjamin Smith II & James Smith III, London, the sphinx handles, Victorian and Sheffield made, circular form, foliate, shell and gadroon border, the pull-off covers with detachable sphinx handles, engraved with the badge of the 24th Regiment, above 'Egypt', repaired diameter 30.5cm, approx. weight 223oz.
