边平山 1958年生于北京。毕业于中央美术学院国画系、中国艺术研究院、中国画名家研修班。曾任荣宝斋出版社编辑。代表作有《金色的池塘》、《垂髫图》。
Bian Pingshan was born in Beijing in 1958 and graduated from Department of Traditional Chinese Painting of Central Academy of Fine Arts, Chinese National Academy of Arts and Seminar for Chinese Painting Masters. Bian used to be editor of Rongbaozhai Publishing House.
萧 平 1942年生于四川重庆。1963年毕业于江苏国画院。历任江苏国画院一级美术师、南京艺术学院教授、中国书法家协会会员、中国美术家协会会员、江苏省美学学会书画研究会会长、江苏省美术馆鉴定顾问。代表作有《秋水荷池》、《钟山龙蟠》、《碧叶映娇花》。
Xiao Ping was born in Chongqing, Sichuan in 1942 and graduated from Jiangsu Traditional Chinese Painting Institute in 1963. He has served as the First-class painter of Jiangsu Traditional Chinese Painting Institute, professor of Nanjing University of the Arts and a member of Chinese Calligraphers Association and China Artists Association as well as President of Painting and Calligraphy Research Society of Jiangsu Aesthetic Society and an advisor to Jiangsu Art Museum.
