李延声 1943年生于陕西延安。毕业于中央美院国画系（研究生）。师承关山月、潘天寿、蒋兆和、李可染、黄胄等先生。历任全国政协委员、中国国家画院艺委会副主任、国家一级美术师、中国美术家协会理事、炎黄艺术馆秘书长。代表作有《魂系山河》、《慷慨赋同仇》、《山中的太阳》。作品曾被中国美术馆、故宫博物院收藏。
Li Yansheng was born in Yan'an of Shaanxi in 1943 and graduated from Department of Traditional Chinese Painting of Central Academy of Fine Arts. He used to be taught by Guan Shanyue, Pan Tianshou, Jiang Zhaohe, Li Keran, Huang Zhou, etc. and worked with many titles including member of CPPCC, Deputy Director of Art Committee of China National Academy of Painting, The First-Class painter, Council Member of China Artists Association and Curator of Yanhuang Art Museum. His representative works include Souls Twined with the Motherland, Vengeance toward the Enemies and The Sun in the Mountain. Some of his paintings are housed by National Art Museum of China and the Palace Museum.
