谢之光 1899年生于浙江余姚。毕业于上海美术专科学校。曾任九福公司美术主任、上海中国画院画师、中国美协会员、上海画院画师、上海市文联委员会委员。代表作有《铁水奔流》、《洛神》。
Xie Zhiguang was born in Yuyao of Zhejiang in 1899 and graduated from Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts. He served as Director of Art Department of Jiufu Company, a painter of Shanghai Chinese Painting Society and Shanghai Academy of Painting, a member of China Artists Association and Shanghai Federation of Literary and Art Circles Committee. His masterpieces include Running Molten Iron, Goddess of the Luo River, etc.
