刘国辉 1940年生于江苏苏州。1979年考入浙江美术学院（研究生）。历任中国美术学院中国画系主任、中国画学会副会长、俄罗斯列宾美术学院名誉教授、中国美术家协会中国画艺委会副主任。曾获国家人事部“突出贡献中青年专家”和文化部“优秀专家”称号、“法兰西功勋和贡献奖”、“全国连环画评奖绘画二等奖奖”。代表作有《耕耘记》、《岳飞奉诏班师图》、《喜雏图》。
Liu Guohui was born in Suzhou, Jiangsu in 1940. In 1979, Liu enrolled in Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts in pursuit of postgraduate education. Serving positions including Director of Department of Chinese Painting at China Academy of Art, Vice President of Chinese Painting Society, etc., Liu has won prizes with his works including Story on Cultivation, Yue Fei’s Returning upon Call, Joyful Squabs, etc.
