A Chinese bronze bodhisattva, Qing dynasty (1644-1911), of Mahakala, the six-armed protector wearing elaborate beaded jewellery, holding a kapala and karttrka in his lower hands in front of his chest, his face wearing a wrathful expression with bared fangs and bulging eyes, centred by a third eye, and surmounted by a skull and jewel diadem, 5.5cm high, three further Buddhist miniatures, 3 to 4cm high, and a gilt-lacquered standing figure, 6.2cm high (5) Condition report: Mahakala - missing base. Knocks and dents to edges. Two arms missing. A chip to the back of skirt. Eight-armed bodhisattva - items possibly missing from hands. Knocks in various places. Four-armed guanyin - the raised left hand damaged. Figures seated on another figure - one head and one hand missing. Standing figure - base missing. Chips and losses in various places. Cracks to lacquer.
