A Chinese jade bi disc, Qing dynasty (1644-1911), of circular form pierced with a central aperture, one side carved with a sinuous chilong, the other side with four archaic characters, the celadon stone variegated with dark brown and russet veining, 6.3cm diameter Provenance: The collection of David Widdicombe QC (1924-2019); thence by descent. 清 螭龙纹玉璧 Condition report: General wear consistent with age. Small chips and knocks to edges. A section of approximately 3cm across to rim grounded.
