A Japanese Satsuma ware figure, Meiji period (1868-1912), in the style of Yabu Meizan, of a finely enamelled oharame (female brushwood gatherer), seated with her feet crossed on a large tied bundle of brushwood with blossoming flowers, wearing a blue floral kimono with a scroll obi tied at the front, holding a pipe in her right hand and her left hand clasping a tobacco pouch, 21.5cm high For a similar lot, see Bonhams, 5 November 2020, lot 231.
