A large Chinese scroll weight, Qing dynasty (1644-1911), of rectangular form, carved with Daoist immortals including Han Zhongli, Zhang Guolao, Han Xiangzi and He Xiangu, each standing on a piece of cloud with their symbolic attributes in their hands, 65.2cm long 清 木雕八仙纹纸镇 Condition report: Figures possibly aloeswood. Chips to edges and corners, four small holes to the top section of back. Cracks and splits consistent with age. Top of bamboo drum damaged.
