A pair of George III silver sugar tongs, initialled WH, London, with bright cut decoration and foliate pierced arms, terminating in shell-shaped bowls, 14cm long, together with a plain pair with leaf-cast bowls, two with talon detail, and four further, including a French pair, 7.9ozt (8) Condition report: All with general surface wear, scratches and tarnish. Some bent and misshapen areas, especially the talons. English pierced pair with solder repair. Leaf bowl example with possibly erased inscription. General wear throughout.
