本品为邢窑精良之作，撇口，长颈，溜肩，圆腹，圈足，胎质致密坚硬，通体施白釉，釉质均匀纯净，洁白光润，通体素净，盈润可人，全器清素简洁，仅以贴素未饰，整体规整典雅，给人以既雍容饱满而又凝重大方的美感，为白瓷之佳品。砚滴为滴水入砚的文房用具，也称水滴、水注。《饮流斋说瓷》：“凡作物形而贮水不多则名曰滴。”
